Fun Seeing Friends

Today, Julie, Joel & I traveled up to Schenectady (about an hour and twenty minutes from us) to a baby shower. The shower was for Christine McDonald, whom we first met as a 13 year old, in the youth group Dave was a youth pastor for, at Trinity Baptist. I taught Christine in Sunday School, and Christine and her two sisters, Sarah & Lynn, became very special to our family. It was fun to be a part of this day for her, as she's now married, and expecting their first baby (girl) in March. Christine has officially made me feel old! :)
