Busy Boy

This past Monday Joel was oficially 8 months old. He is such a busy little guy, and overall a very happy boy. His favorite spot to crawl to is the back door, in our kitchen. This is the main entrance we use, and it is a tough spot to keep clean. Especially since we're now dealing with winter yuck, and sand that gets tracked in from the driveway. Dave & I were discussing this morning the best way to baracade him out of the kitchen altogether. Still no solution...

Here are a few new pictures of the happy little guy.

Dave's mom bought Joel cowboy boot slippers for Christmas. They're still a little too big, but he was very amused when I tried them on him the other day. The bottom of the right slipper says "right lead," and the bottom of the left says "left lead." So cute. Here's Joel enjoying his new slippers.



Joel's favorite thing now is to stand straight up. Here he is climbing on the antique rocker in his bedroom yesterday.
